This morning I woke up and was freezing. I could not get warm. I was so cold it looked like my hands were turning blue. Since it’s New Years Day, I figured a really hot bath would be nice, and probably warm me up. I took my coffee into the bathroom, and filled the tub up with really hot water. I got into the tub, and was enjoying being warm. Even though my hands were still purplish, what really concerned me was that fact that my legs also looked purple and I had spots that looked bruised.

I poked a spot.

It didn’t hurt.

I really started wondering if I was dying, then thought maybe a good scrub with a loofah would bring back the circulation in my legs. If not, I was going to have to go the hospital or doctor. I put soap on the loofah, and started scrubbing my legs. Sure enough, I could see pink skin. The loofah was working to restore my circulation! Or, was it? I flipped the loofah over and noticed that the loofah had a black side, and the water in the tub was turning gray…

Wait a minute.

I wasn’t dying!

What the heck did I get into last night?

Oh, yeah. I wore black velvet to a NYE party last night. After a good scrub, I wasn’t wearing it anymore, but then the tub was and it had to be cleaned. Nice…
